Mindfulness

I first discovered mindfulness many years ago while navigating a period of depression and anxiety. Beginning a daily meditation practice brought me calm, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose. At the same time, I was training to be a teacher — and I knew that if mindfulness could help me so profoundly, I wanted to share it with others.

My training included annual silent retreats, where I learned not only about myself but also about the human condition — our shared experiences of challenge, survival, and growth. These experiences deepened my understanding of how we all suffer at times, and how we can find strength and peace through awareness and compassion.

Over the years, I’ve continued to build on my practice and professional development, completing extensive CPD and training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Compassionate Living (MBCL) — which I see as two wings of the same dove.

Today, my work focuses on stress reduction coaching, combining mindfulness, self-compassion, and evidence-based tools to help people live with more ease and resilience.
I offer one-to-one sessions, 8-week stress reduction programmes, and tailored workshops for organisations and community groups.
